Hirelings

Hirelings are employees retained to perform specific services. Unlike Henchmen they have no specific loyalty to a hero; they are loyal only to the coins they earn. Hirelings are divided into two categories, common and expert, loosely representing their socio-economic status and the amount of training required to become proficient in their trade. Common hirelings are peasants, those of low birth who work the fields for landowners or perform other menial occupations that require little training. Expert hirelings are somewhat more educated and require considerable training to perform their occupations.
